Library

The Ivan da Mota Dantas Library was created and is maintained by Escola Nacional de Seguros. It is located in School Rio de Janeiro's facilities and counts over 20,000 titles concerning subjects on insurance, private security, pension plans, capitalization and related subjects such as law, marketing, human resources, accounting and so forth. It has a collection of national and international publications including books, newspapers, journals, yearbooks, videos, films and CD-roms. Therefore, this Library represents a valuable resource for scientific and cultural research, and one of the main reference centers for insurance in Latin America.

Publications

The Escola Nacional de Seguros is currently the entity for the production of literature specifically related to the Brazilian insurance industry. A number of publications have been produced gathering technical books, collections, theses and dictionaries. Furthermore, a number of foreign titles have been translated, and also two magazines (one of them on a computer basis) are available in Brazil and for professionals of other Portuguese language countries. These continue to provide a permanent and constantly updated source for consultation.

RBRS International

The RBRS International is a publication of Escola Nacional de Seguros. Founded in 2007, it publishes studies and researches in the areas of insurance, reinsurance, complementary private pension fund, annuity, actuary, risk management, and related subjects, such as environment, health and prevention. With annual editions, its mission is to stimulate academic discussion within the international insurance market and to become a theoretical reference for discussion and debates, whether for studies or for researches, among public and private institutions interested in the development of this economic sector.
